How you can help!

The reason this movement has been, and will continue to be so successful; is it's viral nature! We truly believe that our world is ready to combat the issue of bullying. Those who are not affected by bullying are finally starting to realize the negative effects that happen to those who are.

PEOPLE ARE READY TO DO THEIR PART IN STOPPING BULLYING...they just need to know how!

Help us by spreading the word to others that simply thinking bullying is wrong, is not enough. They must communicate this message in order for victims to know where to go for help, and bullies to see their behavior is unacceptable.

Be creative! Here's some ideas on things you can do to help build momemtum for the movement by getting the word out about International STAND UP to Bullying Day:

• Start asking everyone you know if they have any connections with media agencies. Do you have a friend who writes for a newspaper? Do you know someone with a popular blog? Tell these people about this website and encourage them to tell their readers or viewers about STAND UP Day.
• Register to participate, and then go to our poster center. Start printing up posters and sticking them up everywhere you have permission!
• Write an email to everyone on your contact list with a link to www.standupday.com
• Do you have your own website or a MySpace® page? Copy and paste this code to your page to display the below flash banner!

• Use the recommend a friend tool in hte menu bar on the right to send a recommendation to a friend
• Call your local school board, and tell them about International STAND UP to Bullying Day. Ask them to promote the day to the schools they govern.

Show us your skills!

• Do you have skills in graphic design? Are you an avid YouTuber? Design a banner for us, or make a cool video promoting STAND UP Day. Register as a participant, and then upload it using our share center. We'll post it on the website and make you a star! (or at least a really cool person!)
